Day-by-day safari flow
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The town of Arusha is known as the gateway to Tanzania's northern safari circuit. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps exploring the local markets or relaxing at your hotel. In the evening, attend a comprehensive safari briefing where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park's name originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. During the dry season, thousands of animals migrate to the park from the dry Maasai steppe. Enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Look out for tree-climbing pythons, lions, and the diverse birdlife. The park is home to over 550 bird species.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, journey towards the vast Serengeti plains. En route, visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their fascinating culture and customs. Continue to the Serengeti, stopping at Olduvai Gorge, the 'Cradle of Mankind,' where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered fossils of human ancestors. Arrive at your camp in time for a late afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife concentrations.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. Start with an early morning game drive when animals are most active. The Serengeti is home to the largest mammal migration in the world, with over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras. Your expert guide will track the migration based on the season. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot, then continue your game viewing. Look for the Big Five and witness predator-prey interactions. Return to camp for sundowners and dinner under the stars.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, then depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers spectacular views of the crater rim. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim in time for lunch with panoramic views. In the afternoon, visit a nearby Maasai village or relax at the lodge while enjoying the breathtaking vistas. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 30,000 animals. The crater floor is a natural amphitheater providing one of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Africa. Spot the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, buffalo, and flamingos at Lake Magadi. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Late afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Arusha.

Day 7: Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and perhaps some last-minute souvenir shopping in Arusha. Visit the Cultural Heritage Centre to browse local art and crafts. Our team will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. Take with you incredible memories of Tanzania's wildlife and landscapes.
